Ben's Birthday - 2 Years Old

Leftover cake.....

Heyyyy...a card.......for Master Ben Thor...

But I want to eat cake first....yummy...

Now, I am done with the cake. Let me see now....this mail....

Let me try to buka.....tear gently...

What the heck....let us tear it all the way! Need to get to the card inside...

Yah! Got it......

Wah....I like my card - it got the number "Tooo".....

Eh eh...also got "hooose...."
...want to add my own handwriting as well. (But Mummy stop me in time!)

A-hah! Today is the actual day for Ben's birthday. It is a quiet day though as Daddy is working. And further, Ben has been quite demanding the past 2 days - most likely it was the change of routine when his grandparents were down last week. At night, he demands me to carry him and walk as well! Can you imagine that??? He is getting pretty heavy. So I thought it is better to get him back to his routine.

Anyway we got a surprise today! A birthday card all the way from Auckland, New Zealand! Thank you, uncle Kok Heong and aunty Yih Jia. See you in 2 weeks time! Love, Ben, Mummy and Daddy.

Family picture.

Ben birthday is coming up...wah! so fast 2 years!!! Since 7 January is a weekday, we thought that we will celebrate it today as it will be more convenient for everyone. We booked for a table at Oriental Pavillion, Jaya 33. Got Ben ready for the lunch date by putting him in new clothes which was given by a friend, Yokey.

In-laws came down on Wednesday, New Year's Eve. We ordered chocolate banana cake. At Oriental, the main thing was peking duck which was yummy! Yes, bro, we will take you there when you come back for CNY (provided they dont charge premium pricing for it). But overall the bill came out pretty reasonable at RM240 net with scallops, cod fish, pork ribs and venison.

Ben was pretty active during the lunch...so sigh, as you can see most of the photos are a bit blur.

Ben loves to blow candle so much that at home, he kept insisting for his cake in the fridge. Hub then stick a candle on top of the cookie container. Ben blew, hub lighted the candle again, Ben blow, then hub lighted it again...this went on for about 5-6 times before he was out of breath!

And that is the end of a perfect day.

Bible Verse for the Year 2009

Went to SIB church yesterday for the Watchnight Service. It was really good. The verse for the year 2009 given by Pastor Chew wa 2 Chronicle 20:9 which according to NIV is :-

If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgement, or plague or famine, we will stand in Your presence before this temple that bears Your Name and will cry out to You in our distress, and You will hear us and save us.

Wow, this is so powerful. And you can read on afterwards what happens where Jehoshaphat defeats Moab and Ammon just by singing to the Lord and praising Him.

Give thanks to the Lord, for his loves endures forever.

God is Good! Happy New Year everyone. The website to SIB, KL is http://www.sibkl.org.my/
