Dinner at Elcerdo - Nose to Tail Eating

Ex-colleague was leaving and we had a farewell dinner at Elcerdo in KL. Nice and cosy but a lot of people! You would not be able to get a place unless you made reservations....hmm...isn't the economy out there not doing well????

Anyway the food:-

the Paikut.....

The infamous porky from nose to that tail - actually like our chinese piglet.

Make a wish (money or love?) and then use white plate to cut the porky.

Throw plate into pail after that......Nope the sexy body there is not mine unfortunately....
End result.

And this is what I come back to - my precious little porky at home!

Profesional Photos taken in Setia Alam

Setia Alam was having free photography sessions by professional photographers. It was a pretty hot morning when we arrive at 10am. There were 10 settings to choose from (eac in a show-house). At first, I thought that we will go from one setting to another but with the hot sun beating and my hub already sweating profusely, I quickly choose one that I thought was the most beautfiul. So here it is the end results. Ben was facing upwards instead which I dont really understand why the photographer did not warn us about it before. And the photo came out pretty light as well - too much lighting? But I guess one cant complain too much when it is free. I do have this formula that if there is a deed to be done, it should be done properly. Sigh, I should have insist the photographer to take another one.

Pushing things....again!

Another thing that he pushes.........so many poses, right??! And so happy. No need to buy push toys...! Ha Ha......and some more he is always into our shoes and slippers. Why? We don't really know. Maybe he wishes to grow up fast...while we wish that we were babies again!

Sleeping positions

My little honey really has many sleeping position. First when he is really tired, he will just let go....like "kena mati tembak".....

Once he has "adjust" himself, he will sleep like a froggie - with his buntut up. I dont understand why he does that because I tried it myself, it is actually quite tiring to sleep like that! But this position brought into memories of a dear friend, Evon who has recently moved to Vietnam. I do miss her a lot She was the one who advised me about letting him sleep on his chest (of course, under observation). When he was young, he refuse to let us wrap him up and because of that, the smallest slightest noise will wake him up.

Oh my little monster is up....eyes hardly open. But this is one of those few times which he wakes up smiling instead of crying...

And here we go...eyes all open (isnt his eyes sexy!).......hair all messed up.....

Hat

Look at my cutie-pie. Usually he will not wear anything on his head but this time round it was different. He wore it and some more laughing as well!

One and A Half Year Old Birthday

Wow, time sure flies past...Ben is 18 months already! It has been such joy to spend time with Ben and I am really blessed to have the opportunity to do so. To see so many of his "firsts".....and more to come. Sigh.....he is growing so fast.

Anyway managed to find a nice small cake - only RM5.90.....and got a candle as well from this cake shop (originated from Singapaore) in Midvalley. In-laws are with us as well.....so making the occasion more joyous. Ben was so excited about the cake and could not wait to touch it. He loves eating the cake as well (which kid will not say no to sweet stuff??).

Mummy loves you a lot, Ben.

Birthday Pressie

It was Ben's one and a half year old birthday yesterday. Hub said wanted to do something special for our one and only one ....bought a pressie for him...it is a sand and water thing from Early Learning Concept. Pretty expensive at RM220 (after 20% discount) but hub insist on getting it since Ben loves to play with water and sand. Did not purchase the sand though which was going for RM30 for 10kg! A bit too heavy and thinking of all the mess it will create. Water is fine as we can just put the toy into the bathroom for him to play. But I guess one day we will need to get the sand as well! :)

As you can see here how busy Ben is at helping to set up his toy. The best part was towards the end, everyone was helping out already!

Push Trolley

My little Ben is at it again...this time it is the trolley from the kitchen..."slap head"!

Durians

It is durian season already and you can see that my little one is chomping away at durians! :)......like a pro, follows after daddy.

Friend's BB Full Moon

Yesterday atttended Friend Thomas's BB full moon. Doesn't BB Jana just looks so cute? And peaceful sleeping there when there was a crowd and so much noise downstairs. Hub was so fascinated with the little one...instead of the brand new semi-d that friend bought and renovated. No way I am going to let another little one inside my small little tummy! :)

Bible Atlast

Was looking for something to understand all those maps and history settings in the Bible. Could not find it at any Christian bookstores. Asked friend and she recommended me to go browsing at a Christian bookstore which I seldom go - Evangel at SS2, same row as the Guardian. And immediately found something to my liking! There were a few choices as well. This was good compared to another book which was recommended at another bookstore and much cheaper as well. This one even has explanation on history settings, culture and geography (my most hated subject!).

Toys bought in Kuantan

As I was saying, when we came back from Kuantan, our car was filled with Ben's stuff! But it is dirt cheap. Like this puzzle, it only cost us RM3.90 each. Bought one for Ben and one for Jack. I was almost thinking of buying one that I saw in Isetan for RM80. Of course, it is not exactly identical but the concept is the same. In fact, one of these puzzles is available at the playschool.

This truck cost less than RM10. Boys and their trucks!

Was thinking of getting the table and chair from Ikea. But the table from Ikea cost RM129! Without a chair. This one cost us only RM40 and it comes along with a chair! Of course, the material is different from Ikea, colour is not as striking and not as big as the Ikea one which is a big round table. But it fits perfectly for him and there is even a support underneath the table for his legs to rest as he is still too short for the table. That was one of the reason I did not buy the Ikea one as well as it was too high for him.
