My Little Boy

A friend commented that my blog is ALL about my son! Hahaha...I guess that is what happens when you are a full time mummy. Ben is such a handful and all you can see is him. Got to say that he is the cutest boy around! :)....Ok, next time, I will try to blog more about other stuff.

Trip to Melaka

This will be quite a lengthy entry since I really love the photos taken. We went to Melaka for a day trip (it was more half a day!)......it has been quite a few years since we went to Melaka and we were shocked to see the number of shopping complexes sprouted out. Whatever happen to the Word Heritage status???? We could hardly find out way to the St Paul's Church. All the roads were leading to the huge shopping complex. But I guess that is normal progression?
We saw a lot of Singaporean cars and I am happy to see that the city is taking opportunity of bringing in more tourist dollars especially from foreign countries. The people in Melaka were really nice and friendly. There was a spot on Jonker Street where we bought the blue nyonya kuih and the lady was so generous to reward us with a piece for each of us, and that was before we bought anything from her. And on our way back, we lost out way. We stop by a kopi shop and the guy selling kopi went through the trouble to draw a map for us to the Highway!
In the morning, we reach there bright and early. Check out Ben's T-shirt. :)

With daddy...

....and Mummy

Managed to get a shot of the statue with Ben. He was really struggling already.

Inside the church.
On our way to the A Fomosa Fort....it was a pretty windy day.

This old man actually "caught" Ben and "made" him play the violin. Hub rewarded him with RM1. Maybe Ben may take up violin?? Really nice playing. But I have heard a boy practice before and it was not nice! Haha....I guess that is why all of us start with piano.

Sitting on a cannon.

....then on some stones.

Phew...both the boys are tired.
Now Mummy's turn.

See, the naughty boy trying to push the cannon....

then trying to pick up the stone. Managed to tipu Mummy to help him carry as welll...but as Ben said "too heavy!".......

Daddy carrying on the way back.

Now what?????

....trying out the chains as welll....
at last, Daddy caught him. .....before Ben spotted the nearby playground and off he went .....

Time for lunch....
Ben just loves peanuts.....

The chicken rice balls....

Ben did not quite like it though. He still prefer his rice from a bowl!

Time to go home. Ben was playing happily with this colourful aeroplane which Daddy bought. Daddy said that it reminds him of his childhood. He could not believe his eyes when he saw it at the shop. Ben was pretty happy pretending the plane going up and down but it was long before the propeller drop off....and then the wings....and then........you get the idea!
