I got to say that Hyatt Hotel in Kuantan is beautiful. I really love it for a short vacation as ever since the new highway has opened, it only takes about 3 hours from door to door to reach Kuantan. Of course, you need to pay for toll which came up to approx RM25 if I am not mistaken. But it is an easy ride, not much traffic and Kuantan is not as crowded as compared to places like Penang and Melaka.We were lucky that we got seaview for our room. It is just so relaxing to just sit outside on the balcony and watch the day go by.
But the only downside is that Hyatt is looking a bit tired and ready for some refurbishment.
Do go around months like these as the raining season hits end of the year until somewhere beginnning of the year.
