Nasi Lemak Yum Yum

Suffice to say that he takes after his parents...we love nasi lemak! Ha ha...plus this one is really like the traditional ones which has the sambal on another piece of banana leave. The whole nasi lemak is then wrapped in banana leave. Hard to find this nowadays. Yum Yum.

Painting

One day, thought will try out painting. On the trip down to Singapore, I bought a painting set consisting of a few colours (which include black!....why I emphasize this, I will explain later) and a paint brush for S$2 and also a drawing block for S$2. So dressing him up nicely (another mistake!).....smiling for my camera.

Then off, we go...look where I put the table with all the art stuff.....Look carefully...what happen to the hand portion of the sofa - oh dear...a paint mark!!!! ....and why you should not have black paint.......it takes over all the other beautiful colours.....

...see the artist, the other hand also held out like a professional trying to explain things...but again, it hit the sofa...sigh....

...you can see the water colour here...another mistake, should have buy a water colour pallete and not let him dip into the water colour bottles directly.....

.....and finally the artist at work...... .....it looks like he had a lot of fun. But mummy later had a hard time cleaning up. The final mistake as advised by the playschool teacher was to do it at the balcony so that I can easily just throw water all over the paint. Instead I have to wipe and wipe and wipe. Sigh...

Aunty's Birthday

It was my aunty birthday so we went over to her house to celebrate. I was in charge of bringing the cake.......boy! did I regret that I did not delegate it to someone else. Once Ben saw the cake, that was it. He wanted it NOW!!!! And when he did not get it, he cried...and cried...all the way from the cake shop to the house. Sigh...people said that we should just ignore, pretend it to be classical music....But by the time reach aunty house, he was fine already. He was also busy playing with his aunty, Rachel. Yes, that is my aunty's daughter. Yum, yum....fried longetivity mee.....with red fried eggs...my first time.................and for meat lovers......Ben cannot wait to get his hands on the food... The cake.

Ben's Favourite Bible Stories

Just want to recommend this wonderful boon on Bible stories......it is not a Bible in a glance or the whole Bible in pictures. Inside there is only 5 Bible stories focusing on Jesus Christ. It is not too wordy. Short and simple. Big and nice pictures. Ben loves this book a lot. Downside for me is just that I have to repeat it over and over again sometimes.

Milk bottle....

Look at my little darling so peacefully sleeping. sigh...this is not very often...each time, I wish that he will sleep as he is pretty active and I have to find ways to keep him occupied.

Thomas the train and his milk bottle. I cannot pull it out yet as he is still half asleep. I have treid to pull it out but he will be half awake...and crying for his neng neng....

New Air-Con

Since the weather sometimes get a bit hot, so we decided to get an air-conditioner for the extra room. Boy, did I regret. Look at all the mess the stupid contractor did. When he came in, he was pretty rude as well, smelling of cigarette smoke. On top of that, he charged RM10 for extra feet of piping (3 feet extra in the end) and also to open another outlet, he wanted RM60! Cannot believe it. Actually wanted to change the switch for the bathroom as well since the other day, I was "shocked" by it, but decided against it. Luckily! Can you imagine the mess he made?

After he left the house, I almost pengsan! So much cement all over the place. The stupid fellow did not bother to cover for me with old newspaper or something like that. Lazy fellow. So far, all my dealings with other constractors have been good as they always clean up for me. This is really like the whole room came under earth quake or something like that. I cannot believe the amount of cement there was.

After much mopping and cleaning up, my nose started itching. Then I developed my sinus. Had to take my anti-histamine and now, one day later, I am not much better. Hope that it is only temporarily only.
