Elken Spirulina

Friend asked me what I am taking for energy (especially to chase after a going-to-two toddler). I have tried many vitamins and currently am taking this Elken Spirulina. Let me give you a history of what I have been taking.

I find it quite tiring usually after my period....it feels like my body is attracted to the bed like a magnet. So I have been trying a few types of supplement. I tried pharmacy brands one (muti-vitamin, COQ10,vitamin C) and found not much difference. Tried another brand supplement from Japan, it was good but it made my body heaty until nose bleeding. I have heard of spirulina before and did buy from a pharmacy brand. It did not help much but it did help go to the toilet much easier. I have also tried pak chan as well (dont dare try bak fong pill as heard that it is more heaty than pak chan and i really do hate those small, tenny wenny pills) but it made me heaty as well and caused me ulcers in the mouth.

Then aunty introduced this and I got to say that it seemed to work. I have been trying for one month....we just have to see for a few months. This big bottle has 3k pills (yeahhhhhh! you saw that right!!!...so many pills!)...and at 10 pills per day, it will last me a year. It is all made in Malaysia - so no concerns there.

As for size of pills, i have compared it with a Panadol Actifast (the white one) and also a Poh Chai Yin.

Phew my blue dress fits after all....but I have to be careful of the zip. What do you think? Now it is just what shoes and what handbag? Help!

A1 Curry Paste

Ever since I finish my curry paste which I painstakingly did....I never get around to doing it again. To go through the dried chillies one by one and take out the seeds, etc...is really painful. Instead brother recommend this one. Would it work? I shall find out tomorrow. Have invited sister and family over for curry chicken with nasi lemak as it is public holiday in Selangor....Will blog more tomorrow.

How Should I Match????

Sigh....have a beautiful sky blue dress...tried it on but cannot fit already. Post pregnancy body. sigh! So have to resort to this black dress which I luckily have it or go shopping this week end...(salivating!!!...)....can you pelase tell me which shoes and which bag to match with the black dress if I dont find anything this weekend? Ok for church wedding to wear black?

Outing to Mid Valley

Nowadays Ben is more into watching Barney on tv....and it must be the same one over and over again - Barney More Songs! Aiyoh! He will ask me to switch on the VCD for him by pointing towards the player. I have created a tv-watching monster. Once upon a time, I was like....why cant he watch tv like the other kids??! Now it is ... Oh no, not another time.

So instead of being at home, I took him out. Wanted to go to Lake Garden but it was getting late (and really hot!). So instead, dropped by Megakidz at Mid Valley. Cost me RM9.55 (Dont ask me how come got the sen-sen one!)

But I guess compare with the gardens, it will be better outdoor. But it is just too hot. Hmmmmm.....Mummy will have to make an effort to do things up earlier so that can take him to the nearby gardens. Downstairs, we have a swimming pool and steps. I dont really like to take him there because the pool and stairs are like a magnet to him - he will go for the steps (dangerous! as i remembered there was an article where a 9 year old boy fell down from stairs and died!) and play with water. Can let him play with water but he has been having running nose one after another. Maybe when the weather is warmer, I will bring him to the swimming pool instead. Sigh.....in cooler countries, it will be just nice to take a walk to the nearby parks.

Ok, more stories next week then.
